*Parents please remember to return you kindergarten intent forms (green forms) and your kindergarten camp forms in on Monday!*

This week we learned all about bugs!

We played bug games on the smartbaord

 We learned about how spider webs work. The students saw how spiders can walk on their web when insects get stuck.

We also counted butterflies

Butterflies

This week we learned about butterflies. We learned about the lifecycle of a butterfly and made lots of butterflies to decorate our room. Next week we will learn about different kinds of bugs!

Book orders are due on Monday, April 23!

 At center time some students played an Easter egg letter matching game.

Thanks you to all of you parents who have sent in Easter eggs for our egg hunt on Tuesday. Thanks to you we will be able to have a super fun egg hunt! If you have not sent in eggs it is not too late! You may send in eggs with you child on Monday.

St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick's Day

This week we have been getting ready for St. Patrick's Day! We listened to songs and read books about The history of St. Patrick's Day. We also learned about leprechauns. Students made rainbow mobiles, leprechauns, and leprechaun ladders.

 Students even got to watch riverdancers and try the dance themselves!

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

This week we read lots of Dr. Seuss books in celebration of his birthday on March 2nd. He would 108 years old today!

 Some students played a Cat and the Hat counting game.

After reading The Foot Book we traced each others feet and measured them with cubes to see who's were the biggest and smallest. 

We read Yertle the Turtle and made Yertle and Mac turtles.
