Dental Health

This week we learned all about taking care of our teeth. Students learned about going to the dentist, flossing and brushing. Students also learned that eating healthy food is good for our teeth and what foods are healthy and which ones are not.

Presidents Day

This week was all about the USA! We learned about our flag, some of our national symbols, and we even learned about George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.

 Today, we got to listen to a dentist tell us how to keep our teeth clean and healthy! Next week we will be learning all about dental health.

Valentine's Day

This week we continued to get ready for Valentine's Day! We sorted and graphed conversation hearts.

 We made heart patterns

 We weighed handfuls of conversation hearts so that we could see who had the biggest hands!

 Our science experiment this week was called Color Climbers!

Please remember to help your child decorate their Valentine's box this weekend. They are due back to school on Tues. Feb. 14th along with you child's Valentine's cards and candy to share with the class.
